More than just a cheat sheet or reference, the SQL Pro Quick Guide provides beginners with a simple introduction to the basics, and experts will find the advanced details they need. Loads of extras are included: basic introduction, language syntax, data types, Basic SQL, Advanced SQL, SQL Reference, SQL functions, and more.

The SQL functions are categorized and searchable. Each function information screen contains a description, parameters, and plenty of examples.

The SQL Pro Quick Guide is broken into the following categories:
- Introduction
- Syntax
- Data Types (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access)
- SQL Basics
- SQL Advanced
- Constraints
- Joins
- Functions

NOTE: This Quick Guide is a basic introduction and overview of generic SQL. This Quick Guide does cover some language differences for MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and Access, but it is NOT a detailed reference specific to any database. For detailed information about a specific database, check out the other SQL related Quick Guides.

* No internet connection necessary! Works off-line *

Latest reviews of SQL Pro app for iPhone and iPad

Simple
As a intern / jr. developer / student, a lot of new things are constantly tossed at me. This guide gives me a clean and easy to follow environment to go to when I need questions answered about SQL. I find this much better than aimlessly searching the web!
Informative basic instructions
This app does have a well thought out instruction for learning the basic concepts for SQL. The only concern I have are some minor, yet confusing errors in the examples. For example, the text may refer to a column named customers while the example displays persons. Although a small error, this mistake could be very confusing for a beginner. I would expect better proofing prior to publishing. Besides that issue, I believe this app to be easy to comprehend introduction for someone with no SQL experience.
Def worth it
Lots of content - great reference for ipaders, I have the CSS and java pro guides, terminology and examples are a bit brief and sometimes unclear- with hopes of great things to come from this developer
Concise, quick and easy
This guide is very simple to use and navigate. It serves as a great reference in my opinion. Some small typos in the guide threw me for a little, for example in the SQL wildcard section a reference to First name is used but results for Last are shown. Overall though it serves as a quick refresher and is worth the buy.
Great app
This a wonderful app for SQL.
